Kritika Bharadwaj

Kritika Bharadwaj is an attorney licensed to practice law in New York and India.

Kritika represents growth companies, investors, small businesses and large corporations in various corporate transactions including venture capital financing, private equity and loans, mergers and acquisitions. She also advises on general corporate matters, commercial and technology contracts, and intellectual property. Kritika’s advises on intellectual property matters related to trademarks, copyright, patents, and licensing.

Prior to joining Chugh, LLP, Kritika worked at a reputed corporate law firm in India, Samvad Partners.

Kritika earned her law degree from the prestigious University Law College in Bangalore, India, where she represented her college in moot court and model United Nations competitions. Alongside, she earned a diploma in intellectual property law from the country’s premier law school, National Law School of India University. Thereafter, she received her Master of Laws from the George Washington University Law School, where she secured Research Assistantship to the Director of the Intellectual Property Law Program.

Kritika has authored publications in the areas of law, technology and business, and has also been awarded the first prize in a national writing competition for young lawyers organized by ABA and BNA. She has volunteered at organizations with focus on education, legal empowerment and lobbying, including Voices in Bangalore, TechAmierica in Washington D.C., Georgia Legal Services Program in Atlanta, and Pratham USA.
