Richart Gutierrez is an Immigration Paralegal at Chugh, LLP since July 2015. Richart earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis in American Politics and International Relations at the University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2015.
As an undergrad Richart Gutierrez was Vice President of Gamma Zeta Alpha, Fraternity Inc. This multicultural, non-profit organization aims to increase the quality of life for underrepresented minorities through continuous community involvement and showing younger individuals that attaining a higher education is possible for all. Their philanthropies include the Academic Decathlon, American Diabetes Association, and the GANAS Scholarship given to an underrepresented individual who demonstrates exceptional potential and will to succeed beyond a high school education.
Since graduating, Richart remains involved with this non-profit as an Alumni Advisor by actively looking for opportunities for the organization to become involved in the Los Angeles area, which is where a majority of low resource groups live, and where a majority of this organization’s members are originally from.
In addition, Richart Gutierrez is a strong advocate for equal opportunity for everyone in this nation. Richart now wants to go to Law School to exercise that degree in the immigration field, while continuing to support his community.
