Sherwood Tung is an attorney in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Since joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Tung has advised clients on commercial, corporate, labor and employment, and regulatory compliance issues, as well as serving as clients’ litigation counsel in various commercial and employment matters.
Mr. Tung received his J.D. from Chapman University School of Law where he graduated cum laude. While attending law school, Mr. Tung served as Articles Editor for the Chapman Law Review. He was also the President of the International Law Society and an Academic Fellow for the contracts course. Mr. Tung received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California where he graduated magna cum laude.
Mr. Tung is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese and can write in both simple and complex Chinese scripts. Because communities in which these languages are widely spoken tend to be underrepresented, Mr. Tung volunteers his time for community organizations such as the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, the Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County, and the Public Law Center.
