The Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) program carries many benefits. Since India does not offer dual nationality, individuals from India can get most of the privileges of Indian citizenship with OCI while still retaining the citizenship of a foreign country. Spouses and children of individuals of Indian origin can also qualify for OCI, although their application process differs.
