On April 15, 2017, the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) rolled out a new feature in the PERM Case Management System (CMS) portal that permits member to submit electronic documents in response to an audit. This allows for electronic submission of an audit response without needing to send emails or attachments, and the system provides an immediate confirmation that the audit response has been received. Note that the new feature is only available for cases that were audited on or after April 15, 2017. Members should closely read the PERM Quick Guide as it provides detailed information on the use of the system. At this time, OFLC is unable to change the status of a case in the CMS, so it is currently not possible for the system to reflect that an audit has been issued.
