USCIS Suspends in-Person Services Due to the Coronavirus

Summary
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that it will extend its suspension of routine in-person services through April 7, 2020, or until further notice, effective immediately. This includes biometrics appointments, adjustment of status and naturalization interviews, and oath ceremonies for naturalization.
What to Expect
- USCIS will be sending notices to those impacted with new appointment dates
- USCIS will continue to perform mission-essential services that do not involve in-person contact
- USCIS will provide emergency services on a limited basis
- Individuals with InfoPass appointments should reschedule through the USCIS Contact Center when the field offices re-open to the public
