Aparna is a Law Clerk in the office of New York City. Aparna earned her Masters in Law (LL.M) from Columbia Law School in 2021. She earned her first degree of law (BBA.LL.B) in India from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2017 after which she worked at a dispute resolution firm in Mumbai for three years. Her assignments at the firm particularly related to commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitrations which necessitated her to familiarize herself with various laws, research on complex issues, draft pleadings and assist Counsels before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court and Arbitral Tribunals. While at Columbia Law School, she was Student Editor of American Review of International Arbitration and was also a Research Assistant to Prof. George Bermann.

Aparna is also passionate about dance and has completed Visharad Poorna (equivalent to BA) in Bharatnatyam from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, India.


Admitted to practice in all courts and tribunals in India (March 2018). Intend to take the February 2022 New York Bar Examination.
