Gloria Garcia is an Immigration Paralegal in the Office of Cerritos.
Gloria earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus in International Relations and an Economics Minor from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Gloria also completed two programs of concentration while attending USCD in Latin American Studies, and Science and Technology. During her university studies she completed two legal internships at the California Innocence Project and at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. She also completed an advocacy and communications internship while working for the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement in Washington, D.C. Gloria has also worked as a research assistant for Professor Tom Wong at UCSD, where she spent a lot of her time working on an immigration research project alongside the Mexican Consulate in San Diego, and Catholic Charities.
