US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that it will require petitioners to pay a $10 non-refundable fee for each H-1B cap petition electronically registered during the designated registration period.

Effective Date:

Effective December 9, 2019, USCIS will require a $10 registration fee when submitting electronic registrations for each H-1B cap petition.

What to Expect?

USCIS plans to implement the electronic registration process for fiscal year (FY) 2021 H-1B cap season. USCIS will seek to complete testing of the registration system before announcing the implementation timeframe and initial registration period for the FY 2021.

As always, we will continue to monitor for any update on registration for the FY 2021 H-1B cap season.
