Established in 1991, the Chugh Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that assists with disaster
relief, around the world, by giving food for the hungry, sheltering the homeless, providing healthcare
and social welfare, assisting with medical emergencies, aiding students with school and college education,
and supporting livelihood programs.
The objective of the Chugh Foundation has been, since inception, to help any community, any person, and any country in need and to assist with them all resources possible.
The Chugh Foundation also works hand in hand with other charities, across the globe, and contributes financial and intellectual capital towards joint projects.
Nearly one out of three of people lives in poverty. We seek a future in which no one persists in the abject sufferings of destitution. We believe that eliminating poverty is possible, and we act on that belief every day. It is up to us, as fellow members of the world, to help those in need. The Chugh Foundation is dedicated to helping all who are affected by the long shadow that poverty casts upon the world, upon communities, and upon families.
The Chugh Foundation further envisions a world in which all children can pursue, and obtain, a quality education that enables them to reach their full potential. We seek to transform the lives of millions of children, within low-income settings, by focusing on the development of literacy skills amongst children and adolescents. Working in collaboration with local communities, and with partner organizations, we develop literacy skills, along with a faithful habit of reading, among primary school children.
Natural disasters, poverty, disease, and armed conflict impact people around the world. To add to this, nearly two billion people in the world cannot get the medicines they need to stay healthy. When catastrophes arise, and when healthcare emergencies emerge, the Chugh Foundation endeavors to ensure that all who are affected receive quality medical aid, disaster relief, and recovery. Through dedicated partnerships with global non-profits, the Chugh Foundation helps to deliver, and support, quality health services, thereby preventing and treating illness while promoting good health for patients in need.
The Chugh Foundation is also dedicated to a world in which all women, across all walks of life, are free to determine the course of their lives. Throughout all nations, women are working, every day, to create a better future for themselves and their children. Many women are in the market selling goods, harvesting food in their fields, rebuilding their communities; taking care of their children, hauling water, cooking, cleaning, and fighting: fighting to be heard, respected, and for the right to dream. Through charitable contributions and strategic initiatives, the Chugh Foundation is committed to helping all women achieve such dignity, respect, and empowerment.
In addition, we strive to offset the growing demand for technology in classrooms. To substantively participate in our ever-changing world, all students deserve access to technology. Children with access to a computer, and the internet, are more equipped to flourish and obtain the opportunity of a higher quality of life. The Chugh Foundations aims to improve the lives of millions of children by providing computers in classrooms.
