U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it has received enough H-1B petitions to meet the congressionally mandated 65,000 regular H-1B cap and the 20,000 cap for individuals with U.S. advanced degrees (master’s cap) for Fiscal Year 2026.
While no new H-1B cap-subject petitions will be accepted, USCIS will continue to process petitions that are cap-exempt, including:
