Byron Sequeira is a Paralegal at Chugh LLP, where he supports attorneys on a broad range of immigration and cross-border legal matters, family-based immigration, and employment-based immigration.
Byron earned an LL.M. with Highest Honors in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School, concentrating in Immigration Law, International Arbitration, and Energy & Environmental Law. During his LL.M. program, he served as Vice President of the GW International Arbitration Student Association and externed with Judge Daniel Ortiz of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.
Prior to joining Chugh LLP, Byron worked with immigration law practices in California, where he assisted with Corporate Law, International Arbitration and Civil litigation. He has also supported business immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, PERM labor certification, and EB-2/EB-3 petitions.
Before relocating to the United States, Byron practiced law in India as an Associate Attorney at DSK Legal, working in the Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration practice group, and later at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices, New Delhi, advising clients on Corporate Litigation, Intrational Arbitraiton, Cross-border disputes, regulatory, environmental, and compliance matters.
