Mehma Kaur is a Pre-Bar Associate with the Corporate and Litigation team at the Los Angeles office.

Mehma earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Delhi University, India and Bachelor of Law degree at Amity University, Amity Law School, Noida. As a law student, Mehma interned with various attorneys like Sidharth Luthra, Senior Advocate, former ASG, at Supreme Court of India, Senior Advocate JP Sengh, Senior Advocate Rajshekhar Rao, Senior Advocate Siddharth Agarwal and law firm SaiKrishna & Associates. Mehma also completed a judicial internship with Hon'ble Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, a High Court Judge in Delhi, India.

Upon graduating from Amity Law School, Mehma served as an Associate Attorney for Advocate Mr. Hrishikesh Baruah, where Mehma practiced in the fields of litigation/civil disputes. As an Associate, Mehma worked on civil recovery disputes, debt recovery disputes, consumer disputes and employment disputes. Mehma also worked with corporates on matters dealing with oppression and mismanagement. As a litigating associate Mehma drafted, prepared, and made filings with various courts of legal documents such as petitions, replies, appeals, written submissions etc. She also prepared opinions for general advisory queries.

After having spent 3 years at Chambers of Mr. Hrishikesh Baruah, Mehma earned her Masters in Law from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law with a specialization in Business Law. At UCB, Mehma served as the member of submissions and articles team of Berkeley Business Law Journal.

Mehma is a licensed advocate in India and just appeared for the California Bar Examination in 2023.
