U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has announced that the initial registration period for the fiscal year 2024 H-1B cap will open on March 1 at noon, EST, and will run through noon, EST, on March 17, 2023. During this period, prospective petitioners and representatives will be able to complete and submit their registrations using the online H-1B registration system. Attorney Jacqueline Valle and Executive Manager Carmen Lopez discussed the upcoming cap season, and H-1B cap submission process, and review any changes brought by USCIS including the new proposed fee change and what employers should know to be better prepared for cap season 2024.
