• Draft legal documents - preparing legal documents such as pretrial motions, memorandum of law in support of motions, letters to the court and legal briefs by analyzing complicated case laws.
• Review clients cases, draft, prepare and file temporary worker visa petitions sponsored by U.S. companies on behalf of alien workers in the H-1B, L-1A, L-1B and TN visa classifications, among others, with the federal immigration service.
• Conduct legal research to support client's cases and prepare responses to Requests for Evidence for temporary worker visa petitions and employment-based green card cases.
• Draft and prepare Motions to Reopen and accompanying legal briefs for denied temporary worker visa petition cases.
• Help review the allocation of work to the firm's paralegals and track and log the progress of certain visa petitions, green card applications, RFE responses, and labor certification filings.
• Draft contracts for the purchase and sale of goods - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirments, assess client needs and draft the terms and conditions of the agreements, consistent with client's needs and applicable laws.
• Prepare buy-sell agreements, employment agreements, prenuptial agreements, martial settlement agreements and separation agreements - articulating the agreements in a manner which is in line with the relevant state laws and are binding and legally enforceable in the courts.
• Consult and software development contracts - Prepare contracts in accordance with the intellectual property laws of United States and establishing an approach that ensures compliance with the relevant statutory requirements.
• Draw up licensing agreements, stock option plans and conduct independent research on laws, codes, and regulations. Assist in incorporation of companies, preparing by-laws, operating agreements, etc.

$80,101.00 per year / 40 hours per week: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
