June 2022 Employment-Based Visa Bulletin Features Movement for EB-2 India; Other Categories Remain Stable

The United States State Department has released its June 2022 Visa Bulletin. Applicants should refer to the new final action dates and dates for filing in employment-based visa categories. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will accept adjustment of status applications using the Final Action Dates chart.

The final action dates for employment-based visas are as follows in the June 2022 bulletin:

  • EB-1: All countries remain current.
  • EB-2: China remains at March 1, 2019. India advances one year to September 1, 2014. All other countries remain current.
  • EB-3 Professional and Skilled Workers: China remains on March 22, 2018, and India remains on January 15, 2012. All other countries remain current.
  • EB-3 Other Workers: China remains on June 1, 2012, and India remains on January 15, 2012. The Department of State has announced a worldwide cutoff date of May 8, 2019, for all other countries.
  • EB-4: El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras are unchanged at May 1, 2017. Mexico remains at April 1, 2020. All other countries remain current.
  • EB-5 Non-Regional (C5, T5): For unreserved visas, China has a final action date of November 22, 2015. All other countries and categories are current. Due to current high demand from China, the Department of State will establish a Final Action cutoff date for the EB-5 China Unreserved Non-Regional Center (C5 and T5) categories of November 22, 2015. This cutoff date will also apply to EB-5 China Unreserved Regional Center (I5 and R5) cases. After instating this change, the Final Action dates for EB-5 “Set-Aside” categories will remain current, including high unemployment, rural, and infrastructure.

  • EB-1:
    • All filing dates remain current.
  • EB-2:
    • China: April 1, 2019
    • India: December 1, 2014
    • All other countries: Current
  • EB-3 Professional and Skilled Workers:
    • China: April 1, 2018
    • India: January 22, 2012
    • All other countries: Current
  • EB-3 Other Workers:
    • China: August 1, 2015
    • India: January 22, 2012
    • All other countries: Current
  • EB-4:
    • El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras: June 15, 2017
    • All other countries: Current
  • EB-5:
    • China: December 15, 2015
    • All other countries: Current
