The U.S. Department of State has released the June 2024 Visa Bulletin. Following no movement last month, this month there is little to no movement in employment-based categories. Additionally, the State Department is expecting the Final Action Dates for EB-2 and EB-3 to retrogress in July 2024.
USCIS has announced they will honor the Final Action Dates chart for filing employment-based adjustment of status applications.
Final Action Dates
The June 2024 Visa Bulletin has revealed the following Final Action cutoff dates for an immigrant visa or approval of an adjustment of status application:
EB-1 First Preference Category: India remains at March 1, 2021. China remains at September 1, 2022. All other countries are current.
EB-2 Second Preference Category: China remains at February 1, 2020. India remains at April 15, 2012. All other countries remain at January 15, 2023.
EB-3 Professionals and Skilled Workers: India advances one week to August 22, 2012. China remains at September 1, 2020. All other countries remain at November 22, 2022.
EB-5 Unreserved categories (C5, T5, I5, and R5): India remains at December 1, 2020. China remains at December 15, 2015. Other countries remain current.
EB-5 set-aside categories (Rural, High Unemployment, and Infrastructure): All countries remain current.
