New Consular Fee Schedule Released by the State Department

The State Department has released a new fee schedule, increasing fees for certain nonimmigrant visa applications and border crossing cards. The new fees will go into effect on May 30, 2023.

The New Fee Schedule

Visa Category	New Fee
Non-petition based nonimmigrant visas (not including E visas)	$185
E Visas	$315
H,L,O,P,Q, and R visas	$205
Border Crossing Card (For Mexican citizens 15 and older)	$185
J-1 two-year residency requirement waiver	$120 (no change from previous fee)
