TCF Immigration News Flash: PERM Audits

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) may soon release updated information that is important to those undergoing the labor certification process, whether as petitioning employers or as foreign national beneficiaries.

We at Chugh, LLP have noticed that the DOL is using audit procedures in an increasing number of PERM labor certifications. Receiving an audit from the DOL is stressful to both the employer and employee. We hope the DOL will shortly acknowledge and confirm an increase in audits over the past few months.
