Ritu Chokshi is a Partner and Attorney at Law in the Chugh Indianapolis office. Ritu earned an Honors in Psychology from York University for her undergrad and has a Masters in Immigration and Settlement Studies from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. After moving to Indiana from Canada in 2009, Ritu earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2015. Prior to law school, Ritu was active as a community organizer in Toronto and worked in various nonprofits in the field of domestic violence prevention and making legal information accessible to both service providers and marginalized communities across Ontario, Canada.

As a law student, Ritu worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the Health and Human Rights Clinic (HHRC) on wage claim issues and as an advocate to remove per country limits from employment-based visas. Ritu began her immigration law practice as a Law Clerk for Flora Legal Group in 2013 where she worked extensively on inadmissibility waivers and in 2017 headed their family-based section as an Associate Attorney, where she worked on a various family-based and humanitarian cases. At The Chugh Firm in Indianapolis, Ritu aims to provide end-to-end service to meet the needs of families, businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors who want to make the United States their home.
