Beginning May 31, 2017, a new e-mail feature on the I-94 website will remind travelers of their last day of possible departure from the U.S. This assures travelers are cognizant of the duration of their visit in the U.S. without overstaying their lawfully admitted status.

By providing their name, birthdate, passport number and country of issuance, travelers will now be able to check their “admitted until” status. Furthermore, if a traveler has overstayed, they will be prompted on the I-94 website on the next steps to take.
