UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) announced that they are introducing a new fast track visa to attract global talent in STEM (Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The visa will be classified as Tier-1 Exceptional Talent.

Qualifying individuals will be granted an initial three-year visa, with no requirement to secure a job or meet minimum salary requirements before entering in the UK. Dependents can the join main applicant and are eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions. After three years of living in the UK, Global Talent visa holders can apply for indefinite leave to remain in the country.
