Daca: The Future And Available Options In Case Of Uncertainties

DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, protects over 600,000 immigrants known as ‘Dreamers.’ However, a lawsuit in Texas is demanding a federal judge to shut down the program. This is not the first time such a lawsuit has been filed, creating uncertainty about the future of DACA grantees.

In this session, Arianna Gonzalez reviewed the history of DACA, and its qualifications and discussed other potential avenues such as Adjustment of Status under 245i with Partner and Attorney Angelita Chavez.
