Gerardo Mendez joins Chugh, LLP as a Global Immigration Manager.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Spanish from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.  Prior to joining Chugh, LLP, Gerardo worked for 14 years as an Immigration Consultant, Lead Immigration Consultant, Senior Immigration Consultant, Lead Immigration Advisor, and Paralegal with different industry leader firms.  As part of his college degree, Gerardo completed an internship with Banco Nacional in Costa Rica in the summer of 2005.  From 2000 to 2004, while attending college, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets, the largest military organization outside of the military academies.

Born and raised in Mexico, Gerardo and part of his family moved to the US in the late 1990s, where he finished high school and college prior to moving to the Houston area, where he has lived for approximately 15 years.
